    The last good Dokken album

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jan 25, 2002

Enjoy this one while you can, kids, because this was the last good album associated with Dokken that was ever released. As good a guitarist as George Lynch is, Lynchmob was never that hot of a band, and George's solo album was mediocre to say the lea...st. The Dokken albums of the 90's have all been terrible. I did, however, pick up Live from the Sun recently and it is alright. Not as good as the live album from the 80's and Reb Beach is playing, but it is good. No offense to Reb, he's awesome. man if george lynch was on this cd it would have been the best dokken album ever, but hes not and it still rocks and i love mikkey dee on drums. he was in king diamond so that means he rocks.I like it no matter the situation... 18 yr old lead ...guitar player billy white really knows how to play.....listen and tell me the boy can play!!!!!!!!!! This CD rocks the way rock should be

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Mar 19, 2001

Don Dokken has one of the best voices for rock'n'roll. Only a few others can kick it out the way he does.

    Don Dokken's finest moment

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 15, 1999

Don Dokken proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that he, not George Lynch, was the driving force behind Dokken with this CD. Ferocious riffs, melodic choruses and searing solos all compliment Don's vocals to produce a 10-song masterpiece (there are 1...1 songs, but the ballad is lame.) From the sheer melodic speed of "Crash & Burn", to the power of "Give It Up," to the pop metal stylings of "Stay", this is an absolute must have for any Dokken fan. Just compare "Up From the Ashes" to any Lynch Mob CD and you'll see why this band can and will continue into the new millenium without Lynch, but would quickly fold without Don Dokken.
