Rejoice Metallica fans! Listen to this and you will hear the music of a genius who has NEVER sold out. This newest offering from Megadeth is simply awesome. The lyrical content and music are superb. Dave, you are the man! I have been a serious fan since 84. Thanks for keeping it real.

united abomination is a very great record the album is very shocking how megadeth sounds now even 22 years later after their start this album stands right next to peace sells rust and peace and countdown to extinction megadeth rock on !!!

Musically this sounds similar to the excellent The System Has Failed album. Dave's snarling, yet melodic, vocals still impress and the tight guitarwork between he and Drover is a real treat. This is about as good as commercial Megadeth gets, especially Sleepwalker and Amerikhastan. Lyrically, some of Dave's politics creep in, which may or may not be a turn-off for some listeners. A Tout Le Monde is re-recorded as a duet with Lacuna Coil's Christina Scabbia here and it strangely seems to work. Overall another solid album from Dave and Co.

I got a copy of United Abominations and it is just what I expected from Megadeth. Pure metal, back to basics but with a richer and deeper sound. The solos will blow your mind. It is a must have if you are a metal fan. Gears of War is just amazing but I am not going to review every song... the album is just perfect!!
