No Range To This Phone

Cons: Poor Range, Caller ID unpredictable
I recently upgraded from a Uniden 900mhz phone to this 5.8ghz phone. Or to put it correctly, I thought I was upgrading.
With my old 900mhz phone, I could go to my vegetable garden, or take a walk in the woods and still talk on the phone.
With the 5.8ghz phone, I cannot even walk to my basement without losing the call. Forget about trying to go outside with it.
Also, the caller ID is very unpredictable. Approximately 75% of the calls show "insufficient data", while other caller ID units in the house display it without any problem.

This is the poorest quality phone I have ever owned. I had to constantly press channel search in an attempt to hear the party on the other end of the line. Would NOT recommend this phone to anyone.
