Wildside Just Flat Out Rocks....I Saw These Guy's Live At A Little Bar In Anaheim California, During Their Heyday, It Was One Of The Best Night's Of My Life....Every Song They Played Rocked The House !!Drew Hannah's Smooth voice, Brent Wo...ods Screaming Lead Guitar Licks, Benny Rhynedance's Solid Rhythm's, Marc Simon's Throbing Base Guitar, And Last But By No Means Least Jimmy D.'s Pounding Heartbeat Drums Made For A Classic Combination Of Pure Unadultrated Rock n F'ing Roll, Not Soon To Be Forgotten, By Anyone Who Ever Hears Them.They Were Supposed To Be Coming Out With A New Album, Shortly After That Night, But They Just Seemed To Disappear After That.....What Ever Happend To Them Badboy's, And Their Wildside ??I Would've Sold Anything I Had To Get That Next Album....."Hang On Lucy" And "Lad In Sin" Were Pure Rock Anthems, Followed Only By Other's Such As "So Far Away","Just Another Night","How Many Lies", "Clock Strikes""Kiss This Love Goodbye" And "Looks Like Love"I Don't Know Where They Went, But I Wish They'd Come Back !!So I Could Once Again Be "Under The Influence" And Feel My "Wildside", Thank's Guy's, I Won't Ever Forget !!JHC Read more Less

i'm just finding out out about this band and listening to the music the one song that rises above the rest is "HOW MANY LIES"...this is one of those songs you could listen to over and over again..

Must have been the LA seen, or maybe the drugs, I don't understand. They seem harmess enough, and showed a very shallow musical background in three separate interviews. I kept hoping for something "shocking", "groundbreaking" or even "interesting",... but the record fails on all regards. The Nazereth cover is poor, although "Clock strikes" is credible work. If they had maybe watched a New York Dolls video, or maybe rehearsed some Sweet music, then they would have planted some ROOTS in glam music, and shown more promise. The label suggested that this was for the metal market - wrong answer. They failed to make a decent impact in the market.Maybe some drugs would have helped. After all, that title album might suggest some hint of consumption. Maybe it was recorded under an alchohol induced stupor. If they try a reunion, I would suggest a name change to "Mildside", or get Under the Influence of some STIMULANTs this time around. I hope Brent and Drew aren't offended by this review. I hope that they get some IDEAS before they enter the studio, and some IMSPIRATION , then let us hear the results. Read more Less

Great early 1990's CD

They were raw and they were tight. The vocals were tremendous and the guitar was right on. I think this band got psyched about the oncoming alernative ruch and blew their load before they really began. Unbelieveable.
