    I love all of Steven Seagals movies, he is very talented and great to watch in every movie. Under Seige and Hard to Kill are my favorites

    Under Siege was the movie that had audiences recognise Steven Seagal as Hollywood's new action man, and it is very easy to see why. Here, he plays Casey Ryback, a cook aboard the USS Missouri that has been taken over by CIA operative William Strannix... (brilliant performance from Tommy Lee Jones) and Commander Krill (Gary Busey). After recruiting a few of his escaped co-workers, Ryback prepares for war as he takes on the terrorists with style. The action here is very entertaining with the sound effects ripping through the audience's ears (Under Siege was nominated for 2 Academy Awards for Best Sound and Best Sound Effects Editing) and has very energetic direction from Andrew Davis, who later on went to make The Fugitive. Some unexpected humour breaks the ice in a few scenes which is the perfect ingredient for placing the audience in a very comfortable but thrilling position. A definite for Steven Seagal fans and for those who are out for loads of thrills and adrenaline pumping action!. Read more Less
