    NO ACADEMY AWARDS!???

By braddah shano  Nov 2, 2003 | 1 out of 1 found this Unbreakable (2000) review helpful

    Pros: Most everything

Cons: The film could've been a little stronger in certain areas

What's wrong with you people!??? Are you blind, deaf AND dumb!? This is one of the best films ever made! Samuel L. Jackson & Bruce Willis both gave powerhouse performances. Esp. Jackson...this film was a milestone in his career. I would say it...9;s his best performance ever. This and his performance in 'The Red Violin' both deserve, at least, Academy award nominations!Although this film lacks the power-punch it should have had, it still is a very powerful film with unforgetable characters and flawless acting. The director is not one of my favorites and i thought his work in 'Signs' was horrible but, this film stands out. For anyone to not give this film at least 4 stars has no business rating movies!5 stars! Read more Less

    Real "Super" heroes

    By Eddo  Aug 23, 2006

    Pros: ..

    Cons: ..

The concept of "super" heroes in real life is brilliant. The story unfolds with the sudden birth of Samuel Jackson's character and with an unusual circumstance. We're immediately thrust into a story of un-imaginable realism and susp...ense. From then on we're in constant attention to uncover the truth along with Bruce Willis who plays opposite from Jackson.. literally. Supberb story with the director's signature twist and stretch of reality. Read more Less
