A sixdisc grab bag assortment that couldn't possibly live up to its title, The Ultimate RB album selects RB and rap tracks from the late '90s and early 2000s. Only ten selections are included on each disc a clever stunt by the U.K.based Decadance label to make it look like you're getting more music for your money. (This could've easily been a fourdisc set.) They also surround each certifiable hit with a handful of damp squibs. Notables include Warren G's "Regulate," Aaliyah's "At Your Best (You Are Love)," Wayne Wonder's "No Letting Go" (in a remixed form), Joe's "Don't Wanna Be a Player," and Dazz Band's wobbly interpretation of Norman Connors' quiet storm classic "You Are My Starship."
