Ultimate Hunt Challenge PC Game

Building on the success of the 1999 release, Deer Hunt Challenge, EA Sports broadens the hunting genre with a 3-for-1 priced package that combines turkey and pheasant hunting along with the original deer hunting title. Ultimate Hunt Challenge Pack ships with three CDs including an expanded Deer Hunt Challenge Special Edition, Pheasant Hunt Challenge and Turkey Hunt Challenge.

The original Deer Hunt Challenge features more than 250 thousand acres of uniquely rendered environments ranging from the wide-open spaces of the western ~United States to the dense forests of the eastern part of the country. The game includes the first level-based hunting experience where the player is promoted commensurate with advancement in skills. Two perspectives, "over-the-shoulder" and "gun-view," allow the player to become the hunter in this virtual landscape.

Ultimate Hunt Challenge Pack adds 15 new levels to Deer Hunt Challenge, with a total of more than 100 classic hunting scenarios featured between the three titles. Hunting methodologies abound as you choose from strategies including ambush, scouting, tracking, stalking, dogs, blinds, decoys and stands as well as turkey calls and deer scents. A wide range of weaponry is available and most gameplay elements, such as weather conditions, habitats and hunting paraphernalia, are adjustable for personal preference.

Game features include a challenge mode, in which the hunter is plopped down into a situation requiring immediate decisions and reactions, and a mode that employs tracking (it's possible to walk more than six hours before reaching game environmental boundaries) – just a couple of the nearly 100 skill-inducing, decision-making scenarios. Online challenges are ramped up with the Ultimate Hunt Challenge Pack. ~Team Hunts, with up to four participants joining a single hunt, offer private game preserves with stocked prey.
