Developed by Opus, UFC: Sudden Impact offers faster, more realistic fighting, thanks to a redesigned graphics engine that will also allow new signature moves that reflect each fighter's martial arts specialty. Players can customize their play mode, from a less advanced pressandplay to an indepth "CreateAFighter" story mode.

New fighter models have been developed for UFC: Sudden Impact. Over 8,000 polygons per character, complex animations that create more lifelike movements, and realtime damage indicators such as cuts, bruises and bleeding, all add to the realism of this virtual fighting game.

Increasing the game's depth are more than 40 fighters, including the likes of UFC champion Matt Hughes and upandcomer Robbie Lawler. Aside from the fighters included in the game, players can elect to create their own fighter from the ground up, choosing distinct personality traits and exciting arena entrance animations. ~ Damian Francis, All Game Guide

    UFC SUDDEN IMPACT

    Pros: Control

    Cons: Slow loading process.

    The Game is overall really solid. The player control is great. The only down part is that there is a slow loading process in especially noticable in the story mode. For the price this game is a steal!
