Formed in 2008 as a side project for punkpop practitioners Max Bemis and Coby Linder of Los Angelesbased Say Anything and Chris Conley and David Soloway of New Jersey based Saves the Day, Two Tongues introduces elements from both acts, resulting in a spirited blend of indie rock and emopop. The group's eponymous, selfproduced debut album was recorded at Electric Lady Bug studios in southern California and released on Vagrant Records on February 3, 2009.
