Synopsis: Two Brothers/Thunderbirds Value Pack (2004)

Synopis: A compilation of two major films, each described below: TWO BROTHERS - Two rambunctious, adorable tigers--Kumal and Sangha-- live among ancient temple ruins in the Southeast Asian jungle in the early 1900s. Aidan McRory (Guy Pearce), a well-known British explorer, kills the adult male tiger but takes pity on Kumal, the traumatized cub left behind. When McRory is arrested for looting ancient artifacts, little Kumal is sold to the circus, where local ringleaders beat him into submission and break his spirit. Meanwhile, Sangha, the second cub, is sent to The Prince (Oanh Nyguen) and trained to be a vicious killer. Director Jean-Jacques Annaud closes the gap between wildlife documentaries and high drama with the help of topnotch actors and longtime co-writer Alain Godard (with whom he worked on THE NAME OF THE ROSE and ENEMY AT THE GATES).THUNDERBIRDS - This live-action version of the cult British television show from the 1960s sticks closely to the spirit of the original show while making use of the new technology available 40 years later. The International Rescue organization--a team of high-tech law enforcers--is based on a remote desert island location. Jeff Tracy (Bill Paxton) heads up the team, and employs his sons to help him out. Teenager Alan Tracy (Brady Corbet) is constantly frustrated by his lack of opportunity to join the brothers on their missions, but when the evil villain known as The Hood (Ben Kingsley) traps the team in outer space, it seems Alan's time has come. Alan and his pal Fermat (Soren Fulton) draw on help from the sultry detective Lady Penelope (Sophia Myles) and her butler Parker (Ron Cook).
