Sweet Tooth and his rivals climb back behind the wheel for this portable version of the violent vehicular combat game. Most similar to the fondly remembered Twisted Metal 2 (and crafted by Incog, home to many of that earlier game's developers), this PSP version of Twisted Metal offers battles that take place in a dozen diverse arenas, each full of its own devious secrets and hidden powerups. Players choose from 14 familiar Twisted Metal characters and vehicles, each finetuned for play on the handheld. Great launch game for PSP

Pros: Good old twisted metal fun, new charictars, online infrastructure, challenging gameplay
Cons: Choppy or buggy when alot of cars onscreen, play control can be sluggish
This game was my favorite from the PSP. I only played a few before I took it back, but I bought this one with it at launch and I was glad I did. It is really good to just break out and play a round or two anywhere, plus the infrastructure works well.... It was neat playing online alough the game would be slow or choppy. The graphics and levels were good however and the cars even better. Nice learning curve as with all twisted metals. Great game to buy with a new PSP. Read more Less
