Wish my SUV had rocket lauchers!
Pros: Way fun and addictive auto combat!
Cons: Came out a million years ago so the graphics are stale and a new one needs to come out!
I used to love playing this game when it first came out I hope they make a new one for PS3!

My goodness! This has to best of the series edging out TM2 in my opinion. Very fast, handles great and has a *really* fun 4 man multiplayer. There are about 15 characters and about 10 levels, so theres alot variety. Some levels are compact and some aremassive, like the Suburbia level for example. Dont ask me how they did it, but they made this game run at an almost perfect 60fps at all times. Thats unbelievable considering all the particle explosion effects, players and landscape this title shows allon screen at once, with no noticeable fog in the background......amazing. Soundtrack is amazing. Its very dyanamic as well. For example, when there is alot of action on screen, the music will get louder and play more riffs, but for those couple quiet moments, the music will dim down a bit and make things peaceful. It adds so much to the game, espescially i you have a Dolby Surround sound system. The destruction and speed of this game compliments this series really well, taken to the next level with the better technology obviously. The particle effects are amazing and the maneuvers, handling and physics are extremely polished. It is a little difficult but not enough to get frustrated, but definitely challenging. Thankfully there are cheats you can use if its gets too hard. The multiplayer is also a blast. 4 player splitscreen and stil runs at 60 fps most of the time! I mean it, this is the most enjoyable multiplayer game Ive played in a while. Lot of unlockables, CG stories for each character. Theres really nothing I can gripe about. Again, welcome back Incognito, you made the TM series great once again!

I really enjoyed TMB, the cutscenes and bosses all were great, and the huge levels were just incredible, especially the Suburbs. But some returning characters from previous games, especially Minion, have had their cars turned either ugly or the characters (while unique) were not as interesting as their predecessors. Overall I still liked it a lot, but if they make a sequel, make it bigger with more cars with their original drivers and bring back some classic maps.

If you like a game with high speed

the game is really good, if you buyit you make a good choice. The only cons the game are that you can't play in challenge mode and endurance mode with all locked levels, only you can play this levels in multiplayer mode, this is the only failiry in the game.

i think the dumbest thing so far was buying this dayum game for PS2. i remember playing twisted metal on ps1 and it was great i loved it. my friend said tog et thsi gmae. i even saw the tv ad it looked cool. boy i couldnt have been more wrong in buying this game. WHy u ask? where to start??? ummmnm lets see controls SUCK and are very hard to work with. the game is super fast, not like wow this si a fast game cool but like wow this ggame is so flipping fasyt that u die in like 30secs. its got a good multiplayer game i must admit that. and they do have alot of built in replay value since u must unlock ppl and lvls. but to even do that u gotta adjust to everything else. i think when it comes down to it. this is a either u love it or u hate it game. and in my case i HATE It waste of 60dollars. so DONT BUY IT DONT> rent it and see if u like it then buy it.

if your a major fan af the twisted metal series you'll love this game.Even if your not a fan you'll love it. It's a trully amazing game. Every time I boot this game up i feel like im a phycopath trying to get the people that wronged me back. This is trully a must have game!!!!!!

This is the single greatest game ive ever played. The beauty of the game isnt fully expressed the first time you play it. I remember the first time i played it the game agitated me because it took alot to kill an enemy. After i mastered the controls and got the hang of the game i realized that the game is much better off like it. The greatest multiplayer game ever...bar none. The single player is challenging and addicting. Cant wait for online!!!

I think this game is better than any gamecube game. Everything is awsome about this game. However, I do wish they would make a game where Twisted Metal Cars go against Vigilante 8 cars. Now that would be an outstanding game.
