the best game i have for my ps2
, November 23, 2001Reviewer: Raymond P - See all Raymond P's reviews3 of 4 Yahoo! Users found this Twisted Metal: Black review helpful Don't listen to any other critic who tells you this game is bad or doesn't live up to the series. I am an avid Twisted Metal fan and the biggest I know. This game lived up to the hype and delivered; oh boy, did it deliver. The graphics were excellent. Incog. used all the PS2 had to offer. The storyline is one of a kind. The dark feeling gives the game an even better appeal to gamers and fans alike. Although they aren't exactly PG rated endings, they were creative(for the most part) and fun to watch. The sound engine for TMB was the first of it's kind used on the PS2. You could actually listen to the sound and tell where the enemy was at. It may take a gamer a little bit to get used to the speed of the game(this ain't no slowpoke game) but once you do, the game becomes progressively easier. My favorite part about the game is that my favorite character, Minion, is back. The large tanker is a challenging opponent to face. Now, there is not only 1P story mode but many others to keep the player busy. Two player mode is much more fun than one. There is also a challenge and a survival mode as well. If you buy any game for the PS2, don't waste your money on Gran Turismo or Metal Gear(buy them later), spend the hard earned money on a game you can enjoy; spend it on Twisted Metal Black ... -

WHy u ask? where to start??? ummmnm lets see controls SUCK and are very hard to work with. the game is super fast, not like wow this si a fast game cool but like wow this ggame is so flipping fasyt that u die in like 30secs. its got a good multiplayer game i must admit that. and they do have alot of built in replay value since u must unlock ppl and lvls. but to even do that u gotta adjust to everything else. i think when it comes down to it. this is a either u love it or u hate it game. and in my case i HATE It waste of 60dollars. so DONT BUY IT DONT> rent it and see if u like it then buy it. ...
