12 angry men (1957)
This is a classic that all should watch. This was placed in the 50's. you don't see the trial but watching the jury delibrate gives you an idea of what went on. but thats not the focus of the movie. the movie is based on how a jury does after a trial and how it gets played out. you see the emotions that plays into being a jury person. how a jury makes a decision. the 50's didnt have dna evident,etc. you have to keep an open mind that this was the 50's and not the 2000's. all i can say this is a great movie and ill watch it another 100 times. it does not get old. just awesome

Henry Fonda shows his true acting talent in this film. 1957 and even today it can deliver an on-screen performance that so many films lack. The emotion, the interaction among characters, and the entire general plot is so incredible, you'll ask yourself why you didn't see it sooner...No, why you don't own your own copy!

Simply amazing. That is why many top b-schools (HBS and Kellogg) use the movie as a case study.
I studied this movie in my Organization Behavior class. It is amazing how much I learned about leadership, pursuasion, negotiation, etc..
Aside of that, it is pretty difficult to find a Hollywood movie that is made in one room with only 12 actors. Everything is based on the dynamics and interactions of those 12 people. You don't even need to see the face of the accused man...Was this review helpful? Yes - NoAn unbelieveable work!!!
I have one word for this movie; phenomenal. It really makes you think about America's court system. If you're looking for a non-violent, suspensful movie to watch, I highly recommend this one.
