Cons: The story is kind of a stretch from the books.
I loved the movie, but I also loved the book, and I might say the book was indeed better. I was impressed with the acting, but the story line seemed a little stretchy. I'd recommend this for anyone who wants to watch a long, entertaining action movie.

Pros: Cast, location, acting, action, realism....everything.
Cons: Credits too long? Can't think of anything else.
In the age of computer special effects, they can make an army of 500 look like 5,000 or even 50,000. This is done to perfection in Troy. The massive armies and the battle scenes are rivaled only by those in the Lord Of The Rings major battle scenes. The cast and their acting are beyond excellent. Please don't compare Troy to Braveheart and King Arthur (both among the best movies ever made) because they are all about different times and different stories. ...
