Mexican alternative metal band Trompo burst into the local scene in the late '90s, debuting with the release of a demo featuring original songs "Casualidad" and "Tras La Cortina." After playing around its native country, the band moved to the U.S., touring California and Texas' Latin rock club circuit. In 2001, Trompo recorded a self-titled debut album.
