Pros: Song "Music of the Night"

OK, so I was extremely excited to have found a version of POTO that I had never heard of before. After listening to it, though, I understood why I had never heard of it before...
In short, the arrangement lacked bite and passion, most of the male soloists were garbage, lyrics and some musical phrases were changed, and the overall production sounded bored and impatient. All those things disappointed me...
On a more happy note, however, I must say that I was impressed by the lady singing Christine (and providing she has the acting chops) and think she would be a valuable addition to nay Broadway production of the show. The same goes for the man singing Erik/Phantom in "Music of the Night," which brought tears to my eyes and was by far the most passionate and true-to-the-original part of the CD.
So, although I was severely disappointed by this album, it only set me back seven bucks and provided me with one of the best recordings of "Music of the Night" in m ...
