| EXPERT RATING: From AMG Reviews Mas Flow put Luny Tunes on the Latin music map in a big way, sure, but La Trayectoria went a step further, winning them a ton of acclaim and establishing them as the reigning reggaeton hitmakers. A mammoth doubledisc, 42track tour de force, La Trayectoria lives up to its billing (The Trajectory en inglés), expanding upon the innovations Luny Tunes showcased on their debut, Mas Flow. The trademark galloping beats, stabbing synths, and gunshots are all in place, except they all sound a lot fresher here, even if they are in mass abundance (there are a whopping 42 tracks here, remember). For instance, the tempos vary here to a reasonable degree, and the choruses are much more developed, highlighted by a lot of moaning, sultry female backup vocals and singsongy hooks. And the allstar roster of vocalists returns (Tego Calderón, Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Wisin Yandel, Zion Lennox, Baby Ranks, etc.), and most of them contribute to multiple songs. It all amounts to a marathon session of firstrate reggaeton: you're highly unlikely to find this much talent on display on any one reggaeton album, let alone in such abundance. However, it is true that La Trayectoria may be too much of a good thing. Anyone who's not a reggaeton head might be overwhelmed by so much at once after a while it will probably start to sound the same if you're unacquainted with the intricacies of the style and the associated language. But if you get feverish for this sort of music, you'll be absolutely in rapture as you make your way through these two hours of music.
