  • All Music Guide

Out of the flurry of late 2004 and early 2005 releases from Trax's deal with Casablanca, this unmixed Armando compilation is one of the most necessary. It thankfully reaches outside his contributions to the Trax catalog to include the essential "100 of Disin' U" and "Land of Confusion," both of which originated on his and Mike Dunn's Warehouse label. Some of the most nasty, cranky and sleazy acid house can finally be heard on CD, most of which was made while the late producer/DJ was still in his teens. It's unfortunate that the disc wasn't met with a little more fanfare.
