As far as redundant soundtracks filled with emodriven blasts of distortion and electronic trickery go, TVT's collection of tracks both created for and inspired by Transporter 2 isn't too bad. French composer Alexandre Azaria's dutifully atmospheric score is peppered throughout, and it plays like a cross between The Matrix and a lateperiod Bond film, relying on both melodic orchestral cues and tense keyboard sampling to flesh out the atmosphere around Jason Statham's brooding special forces operative. Highlights include the Pink FloydmeetsKraftwerk pulse of Grand National's "Talk Amongst Yourselves," Indonesian pop goddess Anggun's sensual "Saviour," and the bedroom electronica of Mylo.
