"Edge Of Your Seat" Material Here!!!!
Pros: Entire Movie!
Cons: Wasn't looking for...Didn't have too!
If you like "edge of your seat cop movies then you'll respect this flick! Denzel Washington (Bravo)! Ethan Hawke (extremely believable) in this movie!! Director/Producer; Do another one like this! The "underbelly" of law enforcement can be very tempting as you will see here, but the way it all comes together is so fantastic so much so that you will feel like you took a "back seat" with these guys!
Denzel and Ethan's chemistry clicks perfectly as well as actual "gang members" and their turf couldn't get any better!!! In my opinion, everyone that played a part in this movie deserves 5 big stars for their work. In summary; I have watched this flick endlessly and am buying it right now! My own son won't part with his and I certainly will do the same!!!!Was this review helpful? Yes - NoOne of the best movies ever

This by far is the greatest movie of Denzel Washington's career. Great Action, plot, etc. Everything about this movie is great. Kudos to Denzel and Ethan Hawke

One you must rent. A very dark and deep film staring one of the best actors of his time. Great ending and will keep you on the edge of your seat all the way through.....GO FOR IT

This movie was so bad that I had to turn it off half way through. The stereo-typing combined with the horrible acting was to much to look at or listen to. The Idea of the movie has been played out numerous times and the plot developed as slow as watching paint dry. Don't even waste your time!!

Great story, good throughout most of the movie. Terrible last 5 minutes. I wish there was a better word to describe how annoying the end was. If you get the DVD, at least watch the alternate ending, it helps tie things together a little bit; but the end as produced is well.... dumb.

This movie stood out from most of the movies i have seen of late....it had action, a good story line, a good moral, and was easy enough to watch and not get lost....Denzel Washington was the perfect man for the job in this flick

It was action-packed and enticing in that way. It was hard to understand at points. The acting was good. Story line I thought was poor. Depressing and ugly movie at best.

This is one of the best turn of events i have seen in a while. At first I had no intention of buying it. When I saw Denzel had won best actor I decided to try without knowing what the movie was about. Its a real keeper and one everyone should see.

Training Day is clearly one of the best DVD's out. The film makes you feel like your in California running down street hustlers. Denzel Washington is a corrupt but good cop. The writing of his script should be framed and hung in a trophy case. The film is well connected with street activities. Very well acting, writing, and directing.

I bought the DVD more on a whim, primarily to see why Denzel won the oscar. I was transfixed, I even watched it again the following night, and it had the same effect.
Much of the credit must go to Antoine Fuqua, he made me feel as I was there. Knowing LA you could feel and smell it. the cameo roles of Masie Gray, Snoop Dog, etc., added realism

Frankly the topic of police corruption piss's me off. However, a very interesting story. Good acting. Bad guys get what they deserved. Worth the rental fee. Not one for my collection.

This is a real good movie, I mean it kepted me interested and it is a goodcop/bad cop good thing but it is way better than the normal good cop/bad cop thing. Well out of of 10(1 being the best) it's a 3 on my list.

This is by far the best movie I have ever seen. Denzle is my favorite actor and he was excellent in this movie! It was not just the same old crooked cop story. It kept you on your toes wondering what would happen next.
