    Traffic should have won the Oscar for Best Picture, but it "only" won for Best Director. This DVD is a must-own, not just because the film is a modern day classic, but because of the director's commentary by Soderbergh, who is one of the greatest dir...ector's around. Read more Less

    Miami Vice with the amplifier turned up from 2 to 9. Very interesting and complex. THought Provoking on Macro and Micro fronts Very much in the NEW GENRE of more real life like video.

    Only Hollywood

    I watched the movie last night and could not take my eyes off of it for the entire two and one-half hours. I did get a little restless after the first two hours, a movie longer than that had better be good. This one is. I kept trying to figure out... what was going to happen next. I presumed the worst, but could figure out who the ultimate good guy was going to be, or if he would live. Very very good performances by Cheadle and Del Toro. Douglas, I could feel your pain. Remember, only Hollywood can sterotype blacks and hispanics and the product be called "art". I kept thinking, anyone else would get sued for even suggesting such a plot. I saw an article in the LA Times just the other day that said minorities get pulled over more than whites by the cops. Guess the cops have been spending too much time at the cinema. However, "Traffic" is a very good movie and I'm sure the subject matter is closer to fact than fiction. Decide for yourself. Read more Less

    Good movie, very interesting and dramatic. If you like an intellectual film, and haven't seen a GOOD drama in a while you should definitlly rent this. Maldita_818 should learn to write and spell before posting reviws.

    Traffic is an explosive look at the drug line

    Traffic is one movie I really liked. I went out and bought the movie after I saw it by rental. The movie shows how drugs come in our country, and lets the movie watcher see what it does to families. The family in this video is one of importance. Mich...ael Douglas deals with his daughter who gets into the drug line by freinds. A mexican cop who wants to put a stop to the drug line finds himself personnaly involved. Traffic does not lag or lack in the movie department or acting department. It is one movie that does not hide the truth of drugs, and what drugs can do. Rent it or buy it you will be saddened by what happens but you won't be disappointed. Read more Less

    Some Stories Were better then Othes

    This Film was done with diffrent stories invovled, in them, Kinda like pulp fiction, but the stories, didn't tie into each other, they just were about all stages of the Drug cycle. This Movie will make you lock up you Daughter, or Make her wear one ...of those house arrest braclets. I thought Some of the stories were boring while others were amazing. Should you go rent it?
