Patricia Kaas - Tour de Charme (CD)

Good album, not as good as others

Patricia Kaas can really sing a song. On the album "Tour de charme" ("Je te dis vous" in other countries) she shows the best of her voice. She hits unusal high notes for what she usually sings. Though she demonstrates some of her best vocal ability, ...the song selections aren't that good. Actually I found her version of James Brown's "It's a Man's World" sort of amusing. Her accent shows an extreme amount. The best songs, to me, on this album are: "A Sainte-Lunaire", "Ceux qui n'ont rien", "Il me dit que je suis belle", "Jojo", "Je te dis vous", and the oddly dirty song "Reste sur moi." In all this album was a bit of a disappointment to me when I listened to it, but still it is a classic. Read more Less
