Firespitter James Carter join the Marcus Roberts Trio for 11 selections. Various tenors team up with the rhythm section to varying degrees of success. Carter's reading of "Chelsea Bridge" with the trio, and Blanding on "Ask Me Now" stand out. Interesting mish-mash. Would like to hear each tenor on his own.
