Pretty good movie
I think the movie was is in one of those categories where it was cool to watch, todays movies seem to have lost alot of that genere.
It was worth the $3 dollars to watch it.
Some of the special effects though were alittle campy, but I liked the story line..Was this review helpful? Yes - NoIntellectual Sci-Fi
All in all, a great movie. Contrary to some of the other postings, you can understand the plot of this movie the first time you watch it -- if you pay attention. The many plot twists are what makes this movie so great.

Total Recall is all about Sharon Stone. She was so beautiful with an attitude that you will want to watch it over and over again. Just by looking at her face, is worth everything. Forget the story and everything else

I'm a big arnold fan but this movie just didn't impress me too much. The freaks are overdone and the little alien that lives in the dudes stomach looks very fake. sort of a good plot. I recomend it for people who like movies like a combonation of Mission to Mars and Mars Attacks

In my humble opinion, the best action movie from the summer of 1990. Buy the tape or DVD so you can see it more than once--you'll probably need to in order to follow the plot. A true science fiction story that is as intellectually stimulating as it is exciting. Good special effects for a movie that is--has it been that long?--ten years old. Enough action and one-liners to appease the Arnold devotees, and, of course, there is Sharon Stone, too. The movie score (directed by Jerry Goldsmith) includes perhaps the best science fiction music composed since the Star Wars trilogy.

Despite all the shoot-em-up violence, this movie provided a fantastic plot. Just as you start thinking you have it all figured out, they throw another twist into the plot and it's a whole new movie. If you're one who usually figures out the rest of a movie in the first fifteen minutes, this is the movie for you.

As I recall, the movie was about implanting memories in a sort of virtual vacation type thing. The great question of this movie is, does it all really happen, or is this part of the "vacation" memories? Great movie, fun and action packed.
