    Pros: I love the swivel of the screen plus I dropped it and nothing happend

    Cons: none

    It was great when I had to present a presentation at school. Plus when I dropped it nothing happend there were no side_effects or anything it was great!!!

    Pros: ease of use

    Cons: quality could be better

    I love this computer! To me, laptops have 2 major flaws- they need a flat surface to rest on, and using your index finger on a touch pad for a mouse is difficult. This computer overcomes these problems. The swivel screen can be laid flat and you can ...carry the computer around like it was a book, or sit with it in your lap. Using a pen for a cursor is easier on the hand and much more precise in navigation. If only Toshiba produced a higher quality product - I have had screws come loose in the unit, the power cord died within 6 months and I had to buy another, and MS Office was a trial edition only and I had to buy the product key, another additional expense. Overall, I love the ease of use and I hope pen based computing continues its progress. Read more Less

    This convertible tablet PC offers good battery life, but it's a bit heavy to tote around all day.The Toshiba Satellite R15-S822 converts from laptop to tablet PC with a smooth swivel of its 14.1-inch screen. A reversible lid latch locks it against the keyboard in a jiffy. The $1599 R15-S822 worked well for me in either incarnation, although personally, 6.1 pounds (not including power adapter) of tablet is more than I would want to lug around in the crook of my arm all day if I had to do most of my writing on my feet. But for occasional tablet use or in scenarios where you would use it on your lap or another surface, this convertible is a fine choice, especially in the field. Read more
