    Great Machine

    When looking for a new PDA I looked at a lot of units. The ipaq 1945 and the e355 were very close in features and quality. I like the ergonomic shape of the ipaq more than the Toshiba but couldn't really justify the $50 price difference. $249 ...lighter in the wallet and I am very very happy with my choice. The screen is awesome, programs and games run and open quickly and even full screen video flows smoothly. If you are looking for a great Windows based PDA on a budget, you won't be disappointed with this one. Read more Less

    Toshiba E355 good buy

    Pros: Battery life, compact size, price

    Cons: no CF sloot only SDIO

    When i was ready fo puchase pocket PC I was going to buy Toshiba refurbished E740 (199.00) "400 Mhz CPU PX250, WiFi, CF slot". I went to Best Buy to look if they have any specials (the customes service there was very poor) and I find Toshib...a E355 for $199. There was lack of Wifi build in and CF slot but the battery time thanks to new intel PX255 CPU make me change my firs choice .I do not regret the buy battery time is between 2.5 - 5 hours. It is depends what you doing for playing movis the battrey run out aproximately in 2.5 hours. Writing reading etc give you much more time. With 256 SD card ($ 64.00) it is make very good travel companion. I can put 3 100 minutes movie on the SD crad in good quality (Thanks to microsoft media :-))For the 199.00 it is good buy.     Pros: Price, price, price, what else?

    Cons: Case is only okay...

    Had to turn in my iPAC 3850... originally in $500 range over a year ago. With comparable features, couldn't beat the price relative to the iPac 1945 vs the e355.. Solid performer..paid $249.99 less $50 rebate or $199.00...
