Cons: died almost immediately
I bought this from an online retailer who advertised it as a "docking" station. It isn't. It is some kind of "multimedia center." It connects to the usb port of your computer. The documentation is insufficient to allow you to determine what all the ports are supposed to do. The one I received became permamently "muted" within hours of use. As near as I can tell it has no know purpose. It's going back to the vendor. It's CRAP.
BTW- you can't even get updated driver software from Toshiba. ...

Pros: Price, small compact size, ease of use, convience
Cons: Ethernet conection seems to be a little slow, and some times timed out on me
I have no idea why everyone else had problems with this product.
I bought it for $30.00 at London Drugs and it has worked perfectly with out flaw for the past year or so.
It was pretty straight forward to install and you can hook it up to lap top or to tv and has great sound watching movies and playing games.
Its small enough to carry with you in your lap top bag and it's very light.
I hooked it to my tv as a media hub and
attached a external hard drive full of movies via usb, and conected from lap top to tv via s-video and could serf the net on the tv and even downloaded to my external drive.
I had no problems, people should check the way they conected it or they can reset it by holding down and pressing a button under the hub for 5 seconds, I found that out on the manual so I suggest you read everything carefully. ...
