    Pros: Quality, Control equals Coolness!

Cons: Remotes hard to see in the dark

This is an amazing HD DVD player....connected to a Sony Bravia LCD Screen and you'll have picture so real it'll be popping out of the screen. Patience when loading this amazing piece of machinery as it's not your ordinary DVD player. It... needs a good minute to warm itself up but when it's done and you put your DVD in, you'll be more then happy with the results. The only flaw to this awesome gift from an excellent opportunity is that the DVD remote is kinda hard to see in the dark but with a little time, you too will have the remote memorized. Cons: none!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Bought this machine about a month ago. I did the 2.0 firmware upgrade.Wow! Dolby True hd awesome through the 5.1 analog. Blue Ray, not even close on PQ. Toshiba, a winner by a big margin. Price!!!!!!!! I bought new in box at BBuy for $349.00. They ma...tched a internet price. Way to go BBuy. Blue Ray has priced themselves out of the market with their machine. I have watched a lot of my Standard DVD 's and everyone in amazed that they are standard. I have supported Toshiba for years. This time thay got it right, big time!!!!I left Denon for Toshiba this time and will never look back. Read more Less

The 100 Best Products of the Year

Powerful computers, handy services, tiny utilities, mammoth HDTVs--our editors' top picks include all these and a whole lot more. Plus: the worst products of all time.We rated each candidate on its design, performance, and specifications. We generally did not consider price in our evaluations; instead, we looked for products that represent the cream of the crop. But in compiling our list, some products were such great bargains that we couldn't ignore them. Of course, ranking laptops and Linux distributions in one place is tricky, but we used the same scoring system for each candidate and assessed them as consistently as we could. This year we have also assigned each candidate an "impact" score, to recognize significant products that changed the technology landscape. And last, we ranked every World Class award winner by its final score, creating our list of the year's top 100 products. Read more
