    Problems

    By Carl  Mar 9, 2007

    Pros: Great sound quality

    Cons: Poor follow through

The first five or six months I had this product it was great, no problems at all. Everything was going great until my unit died. I soon called in afterwards to see if my warrentay would cover it. It covered it so I sent in the unit to be fixed. All i...t needed was a new hard drive and battery. About a week later I recived the product back not knowing exactally what they did to it. After the week had gone by without my product I could not wait any longer to upload more music to my unit. So directly after i opened my refurbished unit from the packageing I took it to my computer to upload music onto it. This is where my real problem occurs. I went to upload a song useing the 2.0 version of giga beatroom. This is the version I originally recived when I bought my product new. When the file was being uploaded to the unit an error occured saying "error occured in uploading file to unit". So I thought nothing of it and figured to try it again. Same thing came up again, then again. Then I figured just listen to the music that I have now and tyr again later. Little did I know at the time all the files on the unit were DELETED. Directly after this occured i called in to Toshiba once again. They told me that when the dead unit was sent in that they updated the unit to be formatted to the giga beatroom version 3.0. So they sent me updates...they did not work my unit is toast. My problem has still not been fixed and it has been three months since my original problem occured. Read more Less
