    Pros: Can't think of one

    Cons: Almost everything about it

    Purchased the TV about 1.3 years ago. Has been in the shop twice for power problems. Heavent been able to watch since the it seems to overheat and eventually shuts off. Also, don't buy from Sound Advice (A Tweeter Company). They don't acc...omodate the buyer much even after spending $600 for a 5-year extended warranty. Oh, make sure you buy an extended warranty if you dare to purchase this product! Read more Less

    Pros: Good Picture while it lasts.

    Cons: Worst Customer Value ever!!!!!

    Toshiba 50HP66 Plasma TV failed suddenly and for no good reason after two years of use. Five of seven circuit boards failed completely. Repair shop estimate comes in at $1500.Original purchase price $2699. Apparently it costs $1350 a year to own a T...oshiba TV. Toshiba's reponse:"Not our problem.No responsibility for Toshiba after expiration of one year warantee.""Yes, we would like our TVs to last longer but sometimes they don't." I could never get an answer about what is acceptable to Toshiba in terms of reasonable minimum product life. Clearly, expect your new Toshiba only to last a year. Enjoy the security of knowing that if your set lasts longer than a year you're lucky and living on borrowed time. I stupidly even proposed sharing the costs to repair my TV. The Toshiba customer service supervisor laughed at that suggestion. Toshiba clearly has no interest in keeping customers or encouraging repeat business.The solution? Don't ever buy anything with a Toshiba label! Ever!!!!! Read more Less
