    Pros: value priced works great with 720p hdmi on a Bravia system

    Cons: Never know when bulb will go out, a little bulky 16" fat

    I am a very big skeptic and took a few months to look over pricing, this so far was best of both worlds (except for the bulkiness and poor sound strip everybody talks about. I hooked it up via hdmi on a Sony davhdx500 Bravia and works perfectly only ...sucky part is you still can't rid of either remote. The delay from turning power on is tolerable (consider what you pay for) but i really like the big screen feeling and picture even on some regular cable channels. I did'nt get the extended warranty but am determined to find a cheap bulb on ebay just in case. It's all good as long a my 2yr old stays put and watches her cartoons, and I get to watch my late night movies. Do select off the dynamic mode to maximize bulb life and it's has been said to also keep a compressed air bottle and get in the routine of blowing out dust that accumalates in and around the fan. Replacement bulb will cost you about 200 bucks so be prepared. Read more Less
