PixelPure Hi-Bit Digital Video Processing means a smooth transition from dark parts of the picture to light, with over 4,000 steps, for significantly more natural images. Wide viewing angle means everyone in the room can enjoy the show. SRS WOW greatly improves audio performance with improved fidelity and wider "sweet spot" for the listener. Dual HDMI digital inputs provide uncompressed digital video and digital audio in one convenient cable for connection from home theater components.     Pros: Picture, sound, setup, features

    Cons: Can't find anything wrong with it

    Used the new house as an excuse to get a new TV. Enter the plasma v. LCD debate....Leaned toward plasma b/c there weren't many LCD's in the 50"+ range; rather, they seemed to top out at 46", with a few exceptions. Kept hearing so mu...ch about "burn-in" on plasmas, decided to go with LCD. Found this 47"--Toshiba name and plenty big--but couldn't find any reviews online. Bought it anyway and love it. Awesome picture. NFL in HD and XBOX 360 on this baby are heavenly. You'll see. Read more Less

    TV has a lot of bugs!!!

    Pros: Pretty Good sound quality

    Cons: Lousy picture, limited features, terrible customer support

    Everthing went pretty well for the first few weeks, then when the TV was turned on there was a loud "clicking" or switching noise coming from the set. Then it started changing formats at will like it was possessed. The clicking sound became... worse and never stopped. Toshiba service was useless. They sent out a fly by night tv tech who had no idea what he was doing. He said it needed some kind of circuit panel but Toshiba would take up to 8 weeks to get it. Suffered for 10 weeks of loud noises and format switch every few seconds only to find out the part would not be available for several more weeks. I took this junky tv back, couldnt get a refund but did get a credit to buy another tv. I upgraded to a Sony and now have a perfect flat screen for the superbowl. My advice, stay away from Toshiba poor quality products, they are junk. Read more Less
