We bought this as a second tv-- the football tv-- and so I had to keep the size and price below a 40". This is really a very good tv. To be fair, I only have a non high def stb providing the feed, but the picture is great. The colors, while not as rich as our Panasonic plasma, are very good and the picture clarity is superb.
