    The Urge

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jan 16, 2001

This new cd is broading their sound. Their first album "Recieving the Gift of Flavor" was good but too much guitar and not enough of the classic "Urge". "Masters of Style," created what alot of people consider the urge (aka Jump Right In) On, "Too ...Much Stereo," they combined both and put a little bit of the pop/smooth flavor that the radio would like to play more. more mainstream. cleaner funner riffs and lyric hocks. very very good album. my regurads to steve and the guysGovernment_overalls@y

    The Urge Rule

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Sep 3, 2000

The Urge has been a long time St. Louis institution. They are finally starting to break through to the rest of the world with this awesome album. If you like this music you should also check out their previous albums, especially Receiving the Gift o...f Flavor. Definitely a good buy. Read more Less

    The Urge-Too Much Stereo

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Aug 22, 2000

The Urge is simply the dopest band out right now. This CD is just a hint at how awesome they are live. A hardcore sound with great vocal and a sweet horn section. The guitar rocks too. The best slammin' pit sound out there.

great album... i kinda miss the horns being in the foreground like in Recieving that gift of flavor... i'm a urge fan from years ago (also am a st louis native) and still think they have everything that makes them unique and great!
