    Good album

    Pros: you'll love this album

Cons: it doesn't last for eternity

This is the most radio-friendly album the Meat Puppets made. That's not exactly a bad thing because you will find yourself enjoying every song. I can listen to it all the way through and enjoy every second. To me, there is no real song that ju...mps out that I just have to hear, but the album as a whole just feels like a complete masterpiece. If you listen to it one time with a closed mind, you will hate it. You give it a couple of listens and let those choruses start to seep in and you will be hooked for life. Stick around for the bonus track, a remake of their classic "Lake of Fire", popularized on Nirvana Unplugged. Read more Less

    Too High To Die

A great CD, every song is good. You can't pigeon-hole the Meat Puppets' sound into one category because they range from psychodelic country to good rock-n-roll. Great guitar work on this one. This CD made me a fan for life.

    Incredible

'Things' is one of those songs that deserves widespread recognition. Not hard to realise why Nirvana rated this band so highly.

    my favorite Meat Puppets album

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Mar 9, 2000

"Backwater" was great, and got some radio airplay, but the rest of this is just too cool for top 40 radio. Most bands WISH they were this original.
"Things" is one of my all time favorite songs.
