    Cool!!!

This, I must say is their most different album to date. A very good CD, and she still got it going. Salvation, Hollywood, Electric Blue are amongst the highlights!!!!

    Amazing

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Apr 26, 2001

This is an amazing album and despite what some so-called cranberries fans say, it is just as good as the other albums. I would choose any cranberries album over Nirvana or The Smashing Pumpkins or any other cd i have.

    Almost as good

Not quite on the level of the other albums - the others were good all the way through - this has some awesome tracks but it also has some really bad ones.

the follow up to 'no need to argue' is absolutely perfecto!the cranberries, take a new direction with 'to the faithful departed' as their music becomes faster and more hard rock than they were...evident in 'salvation'..yet they still have their touc...hing mind grabbing moments on the album with the spectacular 'when you're gone'.the album's title can easily refer to dead artists that the cranberries are highly influenced by, and even wrote songs about..."i just shot john lennon' is just about that..dolores' vocals are obviously in outrage as she approaches the chorus to the song, which she ad libs with screaming.'free to decide' is one of the albums greatest songs.'to the faithful departed' is a great cd that mostly all cranberries fans will enjoyjoin in! Excelent

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Oct 20, 2000

If you want a genré mix of their first and second album, this is the one to get, it has a little bit of the softness of Everybody Else.... and a little of the harder tone, like in No Need to Argue. I highly recomend it. This is the album that intr...oduced me to The Cranberries, which ended up being my favorite band. I got hooked on the songs Salvation, and Free to Decide, and after I heard the whole album, I decided that I would see what there other one are like, I found out that they are as worth while as the other ones. I really enjoy how they mix the traditional Irish music to what is popular today. If there where three women I would love to see together on stage that would be, Alanis Morrisette, Jewel, and Deloris,(of The Cranberries) that would be a show you would want to see more than once. Why this album is so good...

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Sep 1, 2000

The first album was a masterpiece- with catchy melodies and soulful lyrics. The second album was also a mark of greatness- with O'Riordan's voice to haunt our memories. This album is a shocking twist from the band. The most upbeat songs can be found f...rom this one. O'Riodan is saying goodbye to the faithful departed in a loud, unabrashed howl. Make no mistake, this is The Cranberrie's most energetic album... This is their most recent gift to music. Read more Less
