    The movie was a good one. Poitier, like always, plays his part very effectively.
    Also by adding the song" To Sir With Love", makes the movie so powerful. Very nice end.Good job!!!

    I loved this movie when it came out and have watched it over the years numerous times and it still is great to me. It's very hard to get a teacher that accually takes the time to make kids believe in themselves! This should be the main goal of all te...achers. This movie still brings tears to my eyes!     A Veteran Actor/ Scholar

    Pros: Handsome and intellegent; believable in acting

    Cons: African- American, Senior Citizen, Minority Actor

    Mr. Sidney Poiteir will be honored as long as he is remembered. We lose a lot in today's world and soon we'll needed to have counted the cost. As a youth, I watched this actor play such life-like dramas as the one where he says "call me ...Mr. Tibbs!", and Uptown Saturday Night with Bill Cosby. Let's hurry and get the j.o.b., the DVD and get those oldies, because they're still very good. Read more Less
