    The music starts off, with "Abyss", which sounds like an eerie kind of thing, and then it kicks into the title track. It also includes the power ballad "Honestly", which is truly a Stryper classic. "To Hell With The Devil&quo...t; is truly a must have for every Stryper fan.     One of the 80's top metal albums

    Pros: The album that defined Stryper

    Cons: Maybe a bit "poppy" for some

    After a friend turned me onto Stryper, I couldn't wait for this album to come out. I fell in love with Soldiers and this album certainly didn't disappoint me. It's a nice mix of bold hard rockers, ballads and good sing-along pop tunes.T...o Hell With The Devil is one of their best songs ever, very powerful. If you like hard an heavy, check out The Way, Rockin' The World and More than a Man. It contains their biggest hit in Honestly and also Calling On You and Sing Along Song. This album rates up their with the best of the 80's. It turned Stryper in a more commercial direction. But it obviously worked, since this album went platinum for them. I love this album and listen to it today and love it just the same as I did in 1986 when it came out. Read more Less

    The title track on this album was, is, and will always be one of the greatest rock tunes ever. M. Sweet has one of those great voices you don't hear much anymore...he could do it all and he does on this release. There's also some great guitar playi...n' with the patented Stryper double-leads.     I must say yes I was a Child of the 80's. I listen all the "hair bands" and I still do,but this was one of the better bands. They touch the kids of the 80's in a way no other group ever has or ever will. They taught us the bible with a twist. In a wa...y that we could understand and accept.
