    Pros: Good action, sound

    Cons: Not true to the novel

    I read the novel by Michael Crichton and was entrhalled by the plot and action. When I saw the movie, I was disappointed with how much of the original novel was changed.Too much important information setting up the story is left out of the movie. T...he premise of why the professor returns to the past is completly changed. The background of why the nemisis is in the past is ignored.Also, the novel presented the story as an archaeological story as well as an action story, the movie leaves the archaeological story almost completly out.You would think that in a 115 minute movie, they could've included a lot more of what made the novel so good.OK movie but doesn't do the novel justice.     Pros: awesome storyline

    Cons: needed more thats probably in the book

    I haven't read the book...

    However, I wasn't disappointed either. I really liked it, very exciting. My kids liked it too. PG13 ok for family.
