    I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this Jean-Claude Van Damme best movie he was ever in! Absolutely fantastic!! I would really love it if they brought out a 10th Anniversary Special Edition of Timecop with documentary,behind the scenes, speci...al effects, etc....I´ve made a note in my dairy for next year to watch this film on the day of Van Damme opening scene in the film.....     MIND - BLOWINGLY SENSATIONAL!!!!!!!!

    Timecop is a true thinking man's action movie. Jean Claude Van Damme plays Max Walker, a TEC cop hot on the trail of corrupt polititian Aaron McComb (played chillingly by Ron Silver) who is using time travel to manipulate history in order to win an e...lection. Wanting to capture McComb for the murder of his wife in 1994, Walker travels from 2004 (present day) back to 1994 to try and intercept McComb before he loses his wife and future all over again. Directed by Peter Hyams (who later directed Van Damme in Sudden Death), Timecop requires the audience to constantly be thinking as the plot jumps from year to year, which is a nice ingredient added to an unusual Van Damme flick. Van Damme, as always, shows off his incredible martial arts expertise against the villains, and is involved in state - of - the - art special effects. Be prepared for a mind blowing experience in a world no one has ever imagined. Read more Less

    This movie kicks ass! Definitely the first Van Damme movie to watch before all the others. Kickboxer and Bloodsport are his most well known forays into film, but this is undoubtably his best performance to date. Excellent script, decent acting and f...ull of action, action, action!     I'm a big fan of Jean-Claude Van Damme, and also a big Sci-Fi fan. It was nice for Van Damme to combine his martial arts skills and an excellent Sci-Fi storyline into one cohesive and easy to follow plot. This is one of his greatest movies in the Sc...i-Fi genre in my opinion. Read more Less
