Cons: Needs a little more character development
I highly recommend this movie!
This is a Christian sci-fi movie. A lot of people might think to say "Christian" and "sci-fi" in the same breath is an oxymoron. And most of the time this is true. However, in this movie that's not the case.
The bad news and good. First the bad news: this movie lacks character development of most of the characters except for the main guy, Russell Carlisle. This is topical of most sci-fi flicks. In this case, the emphasis is mostly on Russell and the machine that Dr. Norris Anderson has created. And very little emphasis on all the other characters.
The good news: The film focuses on Russell's reaction to his philosophy of teaching morally without Christianity on our modern society with hilarious results. He is totally bewildered by all the changes and even more so by the hard-hearted attitudes of the people he meets. He finds that this hard-heartedness is a direct result of this non-Christian morality that he was promoting in his new book.
Russell comes to realize that for people to become Christians and have a strong sense of morality *together*, then Christian principles must be taught with morals.
Thus, this film in summary teaches the basics of the Gospel in the above context in a way that has never been taught before. I believe that the producers are on the "bleeding edge" of presenting the gospel in an unconventional, but very effective matter. ...

Pros: Great message for our times!
Cons: None
To be honest, it is hard to find a good Christian movie these day's, and that is because the churches today have become lukewarm, just as the church of Laodicea which is talked about by our Lord in Revelation 3:14-18. But I can honestly tell you that Time Changer is the best Christian movie I have seen!
Even if you understand were the world and the churches are at today, this movie will still leave you thinking! It is entertaining, funny, and most importantly, it has a much needed message for the times we are living in. I highly recommend it to every one, and if you like it, please also recommend it to other's. It is soooo good!
