    Pros: good story, good acting, gripping to watch

    Cons: violence, nudity, sex (definitely not for children!)

    I sincerely enjoyed this movie. The characters are engaging, as is the story. I rarely like "war" movies, but this movie was more about humanity than war. Thoroughly enjoyable!

    Pros: Colin Farrell's butt

    Cons: Not a good movie

    Movie sucked but it was nice to see Colin's butt. Need to see the other side though lol

    Colin Farrell is the next BIG thing

    I'd heard good early buzz on this flick, but saw it fizzle at the box office, so waited for it to come out on video. Let me tell you, this is some of Shumacker's best work. The grainy documentary-style filming gave you a real feel of being there. ...Good, solid storytelling, but without question, it is the breakthrough performance by Colin Farrell that pushes this film to the rating I'm giving it. If you rent this on DVD, you can see his audition tape and what a transformation in his accent alone. It's a film that makes me glad I wasn't around during that time period, and definitely has my radar up for the next film Farrell does. I'm telling you, if he gets the right breaks, he's gonna be the next big thing. Read more Less

    A fatastic indy release from Fox. Character development is fantastic and emotions are real. Filmmaker Joel Shumacher gets it right and has put together a great film.
