Thunderbirds are for movie 2 I hope
Pros: Colour, gadgets, the Aircraft, and the island scenes
Cons: Not enough of the older brothers.
I grew up with the old thunderbirds and loved the puppet series.
Therefore I decided to go in with an open mind and seperate the two shows. I was very pleased to find this movie very enjoyable. It had all the elements of the TV show, except there were not enough scenes where the older brothers had an active roll. The movie was bright lively and colourful'
I like the little references slipped in to the movie relating the puppets.
I think all parents who want the childern to enjoy an action adveture,with gadgets, explosions, rescues and without the swearing, should see this movie.
This movie is aimed at the pre teen and teen audiences, but that doesn't detract from it for adult watchers.
This movie has been used as a vehicle to introduce the backstory and main players to a new generation of childern.
If the producers decide to make further movies, and I hope they do, then the ground work has been set for more action and adventure, with established characters.
