Pros: Sturdy, solid feel, excellent control unless your hands are the size of Barbie's!
Cons: Why is it so @#$%! expensive?
It is easier to list its faults than its praises- because I don't have all day to sing them!
(1) Price. Why is it so expensive. For the same price you can have a CH Products system which is virtually the same (in function, not construction or form) with pedals- for the hardcore simmers out there.
(2) As far as I know the springs are not adjutsable or replaceable with lighter units, 18 lbs of tension is a lot after you handle it.
(3) Setup/install...one word- complicated. That being said, it is not impossible, nor difficult, if you read the manual!
(4) Price! Yeah price again...
Everything else I could complaion about or say is not "perfect" is personal preference and taste. It sure feels real enough to me, flies LOMAC and IL2 wonderfully. I can't wait to take on the entire Luftwaffe in CFS3 in the only HOTAS equipped piston driven fighter built! I am impressed, I am a Cavalry Officer and spend a good part of my life in the mud and freezing my tail, if this it what it is supposed to feel like to fly a jet...I went through wrong door after college! ...
