Yesterday when I heard the news that Michael Jackson died, I was in total shock. I gotta say that I am very proud to own this Grammy award winning timeless classic album by a true legend who will never be forgotten. I do have it playing in my CD pla...yer right now and I gotta tell you "Thriller" is truly a classic album produced by lengendary producer Quincy Jones which also featured collaborations with the members of Toto, Rod Temperton and James Ingram and cameo appearances by Vincent Price who lends his rap vocals and maniacal laugh on the title cut, Sir Paul McCartney and Eddie Van Halen who lends a classic badass guitar solo on "Beat It". The day I heard "Thriller" it really changed my life from the moment "Beat It" and "Billie Jean" hit the radio airwaves. It was also one of those albums that inspired me to be singer and musician. Every song I hear on this classic album also takes me back to the 80's heyday during my teenage period and brings me back a lot of great memories that will live on in my heart forever. My favorites on this album include "Wanna Be Startin Something", "Beat It", "Billie Jean", "P.Y.T", "Human Nature" and the classic duet with Sir Paul McCartney "The Girl Is Mine". This CD is truly and will always be a must have for every Michael Jackson fan. The music lives on this Grammy Award Winning Classic album by a legend who will never be forgotten. Read more Less

Ilove this album. Ilove Michael Jackson. No matter what anyone says he is the greatest superstar the world has ever known.His sucess is outstanding. Thats why till this day he is the UNDISPUTED KING OF POPULAR MUSIC ! Which is why this album is so gr...eat. The 80's was atime for coming out in America, especially among teens and a perfect example is the theme of "Beat it". And the 80's was also an age of people who were trying to discover themselves which can be heard in "Human Nature", Also pop music had came along and so did the music video and the video for "Thriller" is argubally the greatest example of visual music. Not too many people can argue with me about the points i made. And anyone who likes music should love Thriller. A few of the songs are good but the rest are PHENOMINAL ! Read more Less

The reason Thriller remains the best selling album of all time is pure creativity. If anyone listens to all the tracks, this is what you hear. Even the title track featuring the late Vincent Price is excellent and will put a chill up your spine and i...ts fresh now as it was 20 yrs old which makes it very appealing. The Girl Is Mine, PYT, Lady In My Life, Wanna Be Started Something and the rest are all my favorites. Anyone who thinks that Michael Jackson isn't talented and full of hype need to check this album out and see why he deserves the respect he has earned because of this groundbreaking album.
