Pros: Warms the heart -- you know it's Jon!

Cons: Only that it's no longer in print!

The words come alive with that unmistakable voice of his and the songs seem to sing to your heart! Fantastic album --alas, if it were only still in print and available on CD! I did find it on Ebay..for $56.00! The CD was released only in Japan, in f...ull English lyrics. Read more Less

3 Ships is the Jon Anderson Christmas album, and it ought to be better than it is. You'd think with the choirboy earnestness of his voice, Anderson would be ideally suited to put some new life into the seasonal format. But he has brought his synthesizer with him (as well as several choruses), and he manages to overproduce both his original tunes and the traditional material, swamping them with sound effects and overly loud percussion tracks as though he were making a dance record.
