Three Million were siblings Wanda "Doll" Butler and Larry Butler and acquaintance Mark King, the same trio that recorded as Unity for United Artists Records. Doll and Larry originated Odds Ends along with their younger brother Jim Grant. According to Larry, the name changes were a result of not owning them legally; with Three Million they corrected the problem and got the legal right to use and maintain the name.
