The bass-driven San Diego band Three Mile Pilot comprised vocalist/guitarist Pall, bassist Armistead Burwell Smith, pianist/bassist Tobias and drummer Tom Zinser. After signing to the local Headhunter label, the group debuted with the 1992 LP Na Vucca Do Lupu; their follow-up, Chief Assasin to the Sinister, brought Three Mile Pilot to the attention of the Geffen label, which reissued the album with three additional tracks in 1995.
